Twinkie is a blind, 6-year-old pug who has had a rough go at life so far. She had finally found a stable home through Pug Rescue San Diego with Zach & Christianne when she came down with pneumonia. Twinkie was having trouble breathing and was rushed to the local emergency pet hospital. Twinkie has been recovering slowly, being able to finally eat after 24 hours in the oxygen chamber where she has undergone nebulization and heightened oxygen. Unfortunately, she is not quite ready to leave the chamber, and to make matters even worse, every 24 hours of care runs at about 1800 dollars, give or take. Please help give Twinkie a chance to live out her life and get her the care she needs. Twinkie is a valued member of our family and while dogs don't live long, Twinkie still should have many years left and should be allowed to live them with her family.
