We are 612 Promise, a nonprofit organization helping give disadvantaged young men in the Twin Cities access to high quality football coaching and the skills and experiences to succeed in life. We believe competition in youth sports is the best way to engage boys and teach them the skills to be successful men, like leadership, effective communication, hard work and playing by the rules. Our players develop grit, respect, and integrity, and earn playing time under a strict good grades policy. Our coaches are engaged fathers and good role models and we have dedicated team moms to nurture and support the kids.

Many of our kids lack access to high quality sports programs, and their parents are unable to get them to practice, tournaments, and games due to constraints on their time, such as shift work and single-parent households. As a result, we, the coaches, often spend hours doing drop-offs and pickups, but we are limited by the capacity of our daily driver cars. There are many days that we have 10-15 players from all over the Twin Cities who need rides to and from practice.

We are looking to raise money to purchase one, or possibly two, passenger vans to help us help our team get to events safely.
