My name is Amanda and my best friend's name is Maggie. I am doing this fundraiser for her sweet Boston terrier, Tux. Tux is a wonderful 8 year old boy with so much spunk and personality. Maggie had wanted to rescue a Boston terrier, finally, we found this incredible rescue facility and she was able to adopt him two years ago. He's been through a lot and this is his third home through no fault of his own. He and Maggie are such a sweet pair and he definitely found his forever home with her.

Tux has recently been diagnosed with complex Cushing's disease, skin issues, and a hereditary spinal disorder. These diseases have offset many other issues with Tux that have caused him to spend a lot of time at the vet recently trying different treatments, staying overnight, various types of observation and scans (ultrasounds, X-rays). The past two weeks have added up thousands of dollars and there is still more to uncover to design the right treatment for him.

As you know, any type of pet illness can be so stressful and sad, but they added stress of high costs can be very difficult to manage. I am reaching out to many of you to ask for some help in addressing Tux's medical issues and getting him the right treatment. I would so appreciate any consideration!!
