Support Tutu's Fight Against Breast Cancer

At the end of January, during a routine mammogram, Tutu’s doctors found an abnormality that led to further testing. An ultrasound and biopsy confirmed the presence of a small, cancerous tumor. She was diagnosed with pre-surgical Stage 1 breast cancer.

True to her brave and determined spirit, Tutu met this challenge head-on. After careful discussions with her medical team and with Jeff by her side, she made the courageous decision to undergo surgery to ensure they remove all traces of cancer. Her surgery is scheduled for March 26th, and she will spend one night in the hospital. After surgery, further lab results will determine if additional treatments like chemotherapy or radiation are needed. In about four months, she will undergo an additional surgery as part of her recovery journey.
