Our Son Tupac Staples Olds was struck by a car while standing in a crosswalk on May 1. He is now in critical condition, suffering from a severe brain injury, broken leg, broken neck, and other injuries, including stomach problems. Tupac has seven siblings, and this tragedy has turned our world upside down.

His mother is at his bedside every day, while his father is caring for Tupac’s brothers and sisters at home. Because of the accident, neither of us can work right now, and we are struggling to keep up with medical bills, daily expenses, food, gas, and utilities .The uncertainty and worry are overwhelming, but we are doing everything we can to support Tupac and our family.
