Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of urgency. Our beloved Tuong has recently been involved in a devastating accident that has left him facing a challenging road to recovery. As many of you know, Tuong is a remarkable individual - full of kindness, strength, humor and an unwavering spirit.

On August 9th, Tuong was involved in a hit and run case while he was out in the ocean with some friends. He unfortunately fell off his jet ski when a boat came into contact at full speed. He suffered 3 major lacerations, fractures to his pelvic bone, and significant blood loss. He was admitted to the trauma center and ICU where they spent 3 hours to stop his bleeding. On August 10th, Tuong received a double surgery that lasted about 7 hours and left him with several open wounds. Tuong is expected to continue to return to the OR with series of wash-outs for the next couple days, as well as required rehabilitation in the next weeks to months to adjust to normal life again.

The accident has brought about unexpected medical expenses and significant changes to Tuong’s daily life, leaving him and his family in a difficult position. We have created this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden of medical bills, injury lawyers, rehabilitation costs, and other essential needs during this critical time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference and help Tuong focus on healing and recovery without the overwhelming stress of financial strain and absence from work.
