Early Saturday morning we received a phone call that Tuk Minick was involved in a car wreck, he was transported to a local hospital. Upon arrival they decided to transport him to New Orleans for emergency surgery due to a severe head injury. Surgery was successful and was deemed in stable condition.
He has skull fractures both eye sockets are broke they’ve removed part of his forehead. They Will have to do a 3-D image plate to repair that. he’s got brain bleeds brain swelling.
Tuk is expected to make a full recovery but a long year of healing is ahead of him. He was the breadwinner of his household and has a wife and two little girls who need all the prayers and support they can get to get them through this difficult time.
All of us refinery workers know what it’s like to catch the layoff and rush home to the ones you love. Any and all donations will be used to help support him and his family during this difficult time.
