Support Tui Na Training for Community Wellness
Donation protected
In 2020 I embarked on a journey to increase my skills in Tui Na manual therapy. After the first meeting in Tucson, the program was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I continued to work on my technique, getting feedback from clients and professionals, picking up lessons here and there. But I never got to complete that journey. And now, at long last, the program is starting up again!
I have four travel dates ahead of me, two to Tucson and two to Montreal, to complete my training. Please consider contributing to my project and help bring more high-quality bodywork to the community.
*Tuina (literally, "push-grasp") is a modality of manual therapy that originated in the east and shares its roots and diagnostic principles with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The recipient is most often fully clothed and either prone or supine on the treatment table. Some techniques are also delivered to a seated position.
I will be honing skills in Jinshou (lit. "golden hands") Tuina for *hopefully* four 3-day weekends in the coming year.
All contributions will go toward tuition and travel expenses.
Every $75 increment will earn the contributor a one-hour session, to be booked individually, at your leisure.
Please consider stocking up some extra sessions for your friends and family. Gift certificates of this type are a real treat!
