Our family is reaching out for support as we help Tucker through a challenging time. Tucker has been recommended for 12 weeks of intensive ABA therapy to address self-injurious behaviors and help him make progress in his daily activities. This therapy is essential for his well-being and future, but it requires a significant commitment from our family—five days a week, either driving long distances or staying out of town to ensure he receives the care he needs.

The financial impact is substantial. We will need to cover the costs of travel, food, and lodging, and our work hours will be affected as we prioritize Tucker’s care. We have received news that insurance is denying the therapy and was informed we might have to make the decision to stop or continue on our own if the peer to peer is denied. Unfortunately this is very expensive treatment $8,400 dollars per week for 12 weeks a total of 100,800 for the entire program.
