Help Our Horses Thrive This Winter – Support Our Horseback Riding Ministry!

Dear Friends, Family, and Animal Lovers,

At True Vine Equestrian Center, our horses aren't just animals—they're healers, teachers, and faithful partners in transforming lives and spreading the gospel through the power of horseback riding. From kids battling anxiety to adults building leadership skills, our herd has touched countless hearts in the community. But as winter approaches, we're facing real challenges to keep them healthy and strong.

We need your prayers and generous support to make it through the colder months.

The Winter Struggle for Our Herd

As temperatures drop, our horses require “extra care” to stay warm and healthy:

  • Cold weather means more calories burned. Horses eat significantly more hay and feed just to maintain a healthy weight—often 20-30% more than in warmer months.
  • Higher risk of colic - This painful and potentially life-threatening digestive issue spikes in winter due to changes in routine, less exercise, and dehydration.
  • Rising utility costs - We run water tank heaters to prevent freezing, causing our electric bill to increase significantly.

From December through March, our programming slows down dramatically. Fewer lessons, field trips, and events mean a sharp drop in revenue—exactly when expenses are at their peak. Without help, it's a tough balancing act to provide the care our horses deserve.

The Impact We're Making – And How You Can Help Sustain It

Your support keeps this ministry alive and growing! Here's what we've seen in our students:

  • Greater confidence: Shy riders become bold leaders through grooming, tacking, and guiding a 1,000-pound horse.
  • Improved leadership abilities: Learning to communicate clearly and patiently with animals translates to real-life skills.
  • Managed anxiety and more: The rhythmic motion of riding, combined with the unconditional bond with horses, brings peace, focus, and joy.
  • Salvation: Students hearing the gospel message and accepting Christ as their Savior. Making an eternal impact.

Our big dream?

Reduce lesson costs and offer programming for FREE someday—making these life-changing experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of income.

Every dollar you give brings us closer!

How Your Gift Makes a Difference
**$10** Covers a bale of hay to fuel one horse for a day.
**$50** Helps pay for one water tank heater’s electricity for a month.
**$100** Provides vet-recommended supplements to prevent winter colic.
**$400** Feeds one horse for an entire month.
**Any amount** Fuels our mission and supports us through the season!

Will You Stand in the Gap?

We also covet your prayers for wisdom in stewardship, health for our herd, and open doors for community partnerships.

Give what God stirs in your heart.

Share this story—because someone you know needs to meet these horses.
Together, we can ensure our horses stay warm, fed, and ready to serve.
