At 6:59 a.m. on her 70th birthday (1/29/26), my mother left her pain behind and went to celebrate in heaven. After a brave 6-month battle with HCC liver cancer, she passed peacefully, free from suffering. She fought with grace, faith, humor, and strength until the very end, reminding us to never fear death and to always keep God in our hearts. Though her health battle ended, her beautiful soul touched everyone she met.

I don’t know how to do life without her, but I know she’s rocking my baby (a miscarriage she helped me through) and I’ll see them both again one day. We are forever grateful for the time we had.

As her primary caregiver, my focus was solely on her comfort, dignity, and care. She did not qualify for life insurance and had no funds set aside for burial. Her burial will be an immediate natural burial, so time is not a luxury. Any donation or prayer is deeply appreciated. We are only reaching out as a last resort, as we would not normally ask the public for help, but times are tough and we were unable to obtain assistance through other means.
