We’re asking for help for my husband, Troy. Many of you may have seen his recent post where he shared something he carried quietly for a long time. What many people didn’t know is that Troy has been fighting cancer since 2012. Thirteen years ago, doctors told him he had 3–6 months to live. He chose to keep that battle private and kept living, working, loving, and fighting—without asking for help. Against every prediction, he survived and gave us 13 more years together. Now the cancer has returned and is spreading beyond his intestines to other parts of his body. Doctors have told us that treatment is no longer about cure, but about comfort and quality of life.
Troy is the kind of person who always helps others, no matter what. He’s been there for friends, family, and even strangers in their most difficult moments, often putting their needs before his own. As a life coach, he’s guided many people through tough times, and his deep spirituality and strong principles have touched countless lives. He lives his values every day, quietly making the world a better place for those around him.
We are now facing daily medical costs for medications, supplements, vitamins, minerals, and pain relief—many of which are not covered by insurance. This is incredibly hard for us to share, but we are asking for help so Troy can have comfort, dignity, and peace during this time, and so we can focus on being together instead of worrying about how to afford his care. If you are able to donate, we are deeply grateful. If you’re not, sharing this page helps more than you know. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of Troy’s journey.
