We are reaching out on behalf of our family to ask for support for my brother-in-law, Troy, who has been courageously battling cancer for nearly two years.

Throughout this journey, Troy has continued to fight with strength and determination, traveling frequently from home to Waco and to MD Anderson facilities in Houston and League City for ongoing treatments. Alongside cancer, he has faced multiple infections that have complicated his care. Right now, he is hospitalized in League City as doctors work to identify and treat a serious infection that is delaying his cancer treatment.

My sister has been by his side every step of the way—caring for him while also trying to maintain her job and daily responsibilities. The emotional, physical, and financial strain has been overwhelming. Despite the incredible support and prayers from family and friends, the ongoing costs continue to add up—medical expenses, travel, gas, vehicle wear and tear, hotels, and meals.

While they have sought assistance where available, help is not always consistent or enough to cover the growing needs. We want to ease this burden so my sister can focus on what matters most—being there for her husband.

Troy and my sister have been married for 35 years, and we are believing for many more years together. Their love, faith, and resilience have been an inspiration to all who know them.
