Support Troy Yoder's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 12th, Troy Yoder was in a life-threatening motorcycle accident on I-49. As a result, Troy lost both legs and broke his left arm. He was taken to Research Medical Center in KC, where he remains in the hospital as he recovers. Troy is accepting visitors!
While riding his "Janice" motorcycle, Troy got tunnel vision and almost passed out before hitting a guardrail. Nurses and cops witnessed the accident and stopped to apply tourniquets, saving his life. Literal angels were among Troy that day. On Tuesday, 4/15, he had another surgery to clean up his legs and fix his arm. He has a below-the-knee amputation on both legs. His arm is fixed; there was a lot of missing bone. He will not have 100% mobility in his left arm.
Who Troy is & Why He Needs Our Help
Troy is my future father-in-law and one of my favorite people. He's outgoing, hilarious, caring, and just the kind of guy you enjoy hanging out with. He's the biggest Chiefs fan I know and a badass in the kitchen. He recently discovered his passion for the open road and motorcycles. Wind therapy has been a major part of his life over recent years. Riding has become a lifestyle for Troy & he's found a second family within the biker community.
Where Your Donations Will Go
Troy has a long road ahead. He will require extensive rehabilitation. The costs of medical care, rehab, and additional expenses are overwhelming. All funds raised will go directly to Troy.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
Troy has always been there for his friends, his family, and his fellow riders. Now it’s our turn to be there for him. Let’s rally together and show Troy how much he’s loved.
Riding alongside him was his dear friend/biker sister Bobby Sue. We ask that you keep both in your thoughts and prayers.
