Troy joined us for his very first game today and, unfortunately, it couldn’t have gone worse. After an awkward late challenge, he ended up breaking his ankle — a total 1-in-a-million accident that no one could’ve seen coming.

He’s already been to hospital and will be off his feet for quite a while, which also means he won’t be able to work during recovery. Even though it was his first game with us, he fitted in straight away and it’s gutting to see something like this happen.

We’re putting this together to help Troy out while he recovers and gets back on his feet. Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot and help him through the next few months.
