Troy Weaver has been my friend for over 25 years, and I’ve always admired his dedication and work ethic. For the past four years, Troy worked as a chef in Alpharetta, GA, giving his all to his job and supporting his team every day. Unfortunately, he was recently laid off without warning, leaving him suddenly without income and facing a difficult transition. The decision came as a shock, especially after years of loyalty and hard work, and it has been both emotionally and financially challenging for Troy. As one of the only African-Americans at his company, this experience has been especially painful and discouraging for him. Despite these setbacks, Troy is actively searching for new employment and doing everything he can to get back on his feet. However, the gap between jobs has created a real financial strain. He needs help covering rent, utilities, and basic living expenses while he continues his job search. I am raising funds to support Troy during this difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference and remind Troy that he is not facing this challenge alone. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
