Support Troy Sasher's Heart Transplant Journey

Many of you already know my story, and for those that don't, my name is Troy Sasher, and I've been living with heart disease since 2014. I've had 3 heart attacks over a 10-year period, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2020, and was admitted to Atrium Medical Health Centers on November 5th to begin my wait for a heart transplant. I had surgery to have a temporary Impella heart pump inserted on November 8th and was officially listed as Priority Status Level 2 on the heart transplant list the same day. I now am playing the waiting game until a new heart is found for me.

I haven't worked since 2020 and have been on disability benefits for the past 2 years. My wife Megan works full-time, but even through that, we still struggle sometimes financially. She continues to work even now while I'm hospitalized. We live in Hartwell, GA, so we're 3 hours away from home while all this is going on, so expenses for everything from gas to lodging to food will begin to pile up on us quickly. We'll be using donations for those expenses plus taking care of our son Connor, 4 dogs, and our home.

al struggle, it takes Megan's entire paycheck for 1 month to pay for her stay here in Charlotte. I'm not one to beg, but I realize this is definitely something we can't handle on our own, so I'm just asking for help to try and get us through so when I do get my new heart, we can have a wonderful new lease on life.
