My name is Shaurya Garg, and I’m a sophomore and Life Scout from Troop 91. For my Eagle Scout Project, I’m transforming the entrance of Devine Lake Park in Leander with two native pollinator flowerbeds that will support butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects. This project will replace bare soil and plain grass with colorful, welcoming gardens that give visitors a chance to pause, enjoy nature, and feel connected to the outdoors. By supporting pollinators and local wildlife, the gardens will help maintain a healthy ecosystem while creating a space where families and the community can gather, explore, and be inspired. The project budget is around $2,000 to cover soil, mulch, limestone blocks, and native plants. Your donation will directly bring this project to life, improving the park for everyone and helping me earn Eagle Scout.
