Support Troop 5 Growth

Howdy! We are Troop 5, The Oldest Troop West of the Mississippi River (TOTWOTMR). We are based in Denver and conduct our meetings out of the University Park United Methodist Church by University of Denver.

We are growing! Our troop has recently increased from 10 to 18, and we also started a Girls' Troop - Troop 5G! We are excited to get our new scouts indoctrinated into the scout oath.

On my honor, I will do my best

To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;

To help other people at all times;

To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Furthermore, as we are a young troop, we are taking our 14 and older scouts this summer to their first high adventure at Philmont, which is the mecca of Scouting's high adventure camps.

At Philmont, our troop will be tested to the limits, backpacking and hiking over 50 miles of terrain in 7 days.

With all that Troop 5 has going on, we need to get some new equipment such as tents, patrol boxes, cooking equipment, and EZ Ups to not only replace aging ones, but to also accommodate for the new members and troop. We would appreciate any support you can give to our small but mighty Troop 5!
