On Jan. 7, 2025, Tristen was involved in a snow-related incident and broke his T1, T2, and T3. He was transported from Salina to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, where he had to undergo back surgery. As soon as he is cleared at Wesley, he will be transferred to Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Nebraska for several weeks of rehabilitation.
