Help My Nephew Tristan Fight Leukemia—Again

Twelve years ago, Tristan came into this world full of life, joy, and an unstoppable spirit. When he was just 2 years old, that spirit was put to the test when he was diagnosed with leukemia. After enduring rounds of chemo, countless hospital visits, and unimaginable strength, he went into remission and finally got to experience childhood the way every kid should—laughing, playing, and living freely.

Now, ten years later, our family is facing the heartbreaking reality that his cancer has returned. What we thought was just a sinus infection turned into a devastating diagnosis. My sister took him to the hospital this past weekend, hoping for nothing more than a simple treatment, but doctors ran tests and gave the news that no family ever wants to hear—the leukemia is back.

The road ahead will not be easy. He will need to stay in the hospital for weeks, undergoing intense treatments once again. This means my sister and her family will be two and a half hours away from home, balancing the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that come with fighting this disease.
