Support Chris & Trista in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Chris has been navigating several health issues over the last 14 months. In early October, he became extremely sick and has since been diagnosed with pulmonary angiosarcoma (PPA). PPA is a rare form of cancer in the lining of the blood and lymph vessels. PPA is a hard-to-detect, fast-growing cancer that requires aggressive treatment to prolong life. Prognosis varies with every PPA patient but survival rates are low.
Chris is a strong and otherwise healthy individual. He is bravely continuing intensive treatment but due to the aggressiveness of PPA and its location in his pulmonary artery, he has been informed that he doesn’t have much time. This is devastating news for Chris, Trista, his family, friends, and the community. No matter the time left, it’s not enough.
Mulligan, Chris and Trista’s 15-year-old dog is facing health issues of his own, and they are spending as much time together as possible.
There are many things we don’t know including how Chris will respond to treatment and the length of time but we are incredibly grateful for each day we have together. That is more than some are offered and, for that, we are so thankful.
While we move through this challenging time, we ask that folks honor Chris’ privacy and refrain from sharing inaccurate information. If you have questions or want to pass on a message, please email Kati Ringer or send a message via CaringBridge. Thank you for understanding.
