Help Trish & Tom Recover After Devastating Highway 395 Accident

Our dear friend Trish was involved in a severe accident on Highway 395 when a semi-truck lost control in extremely high winds and landed directly on her brand-new car—one she and her husband Tom had just picked up on March 30th. This heartbreaking incident comes just weeks after their other vehicle was totaled in a deer collision only miles away from this same location.

Trish had to be cut out from the wreckage and was rushed to Renown Hospital, where she has already undergone surgery for a severely fractured femur. While her surgeon is optimistic, there are no guarantees on how it will heal due to the extent of the damage. There is a possibility she may face a radical knee replacement in the future. In addition, she sustained serious injuries to her hand—the same hand she uses to play guitar—which puts her musical career at serious risk.

Trish is a beloved full-time musician, known throughout the community for her talent as a singer, songwriter and guitarist. She performs across the region with bands including Hollywood Trashed, Side FX, No Drama, and Good to Go, bringing joy and energy to countless local events.

Because of her injuries, Trish will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Music is not just her passion—it is her primary source of income. With a long recovery ahead and no clear timeline for when she will be able to return to performing, this has created a significant and immediate financial hardship.

Her husband, Tom Good, is a former local paramedic, flight paramedic, and firefighter who is now disabled due to his years of service and lives on a fixed income. At this time, Tom’s income is the only source of support for the two of them. Despite his own limitations, he is dedicating all his time to being by Trish’s side as she faces this long and uncertain recovery.

Trish is expected to remain hospitalized through at least the 9th and will then be transferred to a rehabilitation facility for an unknown length of time. Between mounting medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, daily living needs, and the complete loss of Trish’s income, the financial burden is overwhelming.

Despite everything, Trish remains in good spirits—but she is in significant pain and has a long road ahead.
