My name is Trinity, and I am a 33-year-old single mother. I recently received the most devastating news of my life: I have been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

At the beginning of August, I felt a pretty large lump, so I called my doctor for an appointment not even a day later. They got me in quickly, and from then on, I was at the doctor's at least twice a week, getting imaging, tests, you name it. In doing all of this, the financial portion of it started to add up. When I got the official call telling me what I had and what I had to undergo to treat it, I was completely overwhelmed, along with being devastated and scared. I mean, I had just changed my life for the better—out of a toxic relationship, choosing a healthy lifestyle with eating and working out, feeling the best I've felt in years.
