Support Trina's Fight Against Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Tami Brown and I went to school with Trina. She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer stage 2b in 2015 and given 5 years to live. She was keeping a household together for her and her children, working, and getting treatments. In 2016, due to treatments, she ended up losing that job in September.
Trina has amazed me with her faith in God, knowing He would provide for her. He always has, sometimes at the very last minute, but He provided. What would break most people, I’ve seen this woman prevail when told there’s no hope or to call in hospice. She was told many times things were a long shot. Myself, I would have probably broken down and cried. Not Trina; she told that doctor it’s a good thing my God works in long shots. In 2019, she got upgraded to stage IV cancer.
To say the least, life has been extremely difficult not knowing if she was going to get evicted, or if she was going to be able to get the multiple medical supplies now needed on a daily basis, or if she would be able to eat, afford medicine, etc. No person should have to endure this kind of treatment.
She has had multiple surgeries due to difficulties and is in need of so much support from this amazing community. This fight is not over.
My heart breaks, seeing firsthand all the attacks, trials, and tribulations Trina has had to endure, all done with unwavering faith. She needs rest from the worry of money to put all her energy into healing.
