He still has a trach and faces many months of rehabilitation, therapy, and medical care before he can begin to heal. Trimaine will not be able to walk or work for a long time. He was an independent contractor who drove semi trucks, which means no driving also means no income. He is a devoted father of five and cannot wait to be reunited with his children, but he is deeply worried about how he will provide for them while he recovers. As if this were not enough, his mother suffered a stroke while staying by his side during his ICU stay. She is now in need of rehabilitation herself and is unable to work.
