Support Tricia's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping you can help me help my little sister. For those who don’t know her, let me tell you a little bit about her. Ever since she was a little girl she has always been the funniest person I know. She has a special way of making you laugh even when you’re feeling sad. She is also very giving, kind, and loving. She is the person I count on when I need to be comforted, when I need advice, and when I need to be lifted up in any way. Tricia and I are Irish Twins and when we were little I didn’t like being the same age as her for ten days but as we grew older I learned to love it because we share such a special bond and I can honestly say that we’ve been saving each other our entire lives.

Tricia will never admit this but she’s always been the life of the party and the light in every room. She is so creative; she loves to paint, bakes, refurbish furniture, and her latest venture is designing Christian apparel on Etsy. On top of these things, is the most important role she has ever played. Being a mom. She is an incredible mother who has made endless sacrifices and has given her children unconditional love beyond all measure. She adores them, and they adore her too.

The reason for posting this here today is due to my little sister’s breast cancer. She was originally diagnosed in 2019 with Triple Negative Breast cancer. She received months of intense chemotherapy treatments (one of which is known as the red devil), and decided to have a double mastectomy to give her the best chances of it not returning. Just when life was feeling normal again she felt something in a lymph node in her neck. After a biopsy, she received the news that the cancer (or as we call it, the “monster”) has returned; this time in her lymph nodes.

Soon after this diagnosis she started to develop severe lymphedema in her left arm, and then frozen shoulder. Shortly thereafter she developed a Pleural Effusion that caused a partially collapsed lung. Pleural effusion is when your lung/lungs collects fluid. The treatment for this is to manually drain your lung. Her husband (Paul) does this for her every 3 days. All of these things left her bedridden without the use of her left arm for a period of time. She also receives routine blood transfusions to help with her blood cell counts and to help with her breathing issues.

All of these things have obviously left my sister absolutely exhausted every single day. But, somehow she has managed to not only take care of her children but has continued to work a full time job; and she does it without ever complaining. I believe that what keeps her motivated is her children, her husband and family, her mindset, and her faith.

Tricia has been receiving weekly chemotherapy treatments since last October, and physical therapy for lymphedema. Her job is very stressful and she’s finally decided to take a short leave of absence to focus on her health. Despite the conventional treatments, she takes an obscene amount of anti-cancer supplements which are very costly and she would undoubtedly benefit from additional treatments/therapies.

Some of these therapies include High Dose Vitamin C IV’s, Ozone IV’s, Mistletoe IV’s and Mistletoe injections, PBT Therapy, High dose Curcumin, Oxidative Therapies, and more. I truly believe that my sister will beat this horrible disease and the sooner she can get these treatments the sooner she can get her life back, enjoy her family, and the things she loves doing. The reason I’m asking for help is because none of these therapies, despite how beneficial they have proven to be, are covered by insurance and are very expensive. To give you an idea, a single bag of High Dose Vitamin C infusion is upwards of $300. This also isn’t to mention the many thousands of dollars in medical bills she will receive when she finally stops the chemo.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read this and for those who are able to donate, I thank you in advance. Please, if you can’t donate please share this to your timeline. Thank you all!
