Hello, Facebook family!It's that time of year again for the Triad Trackers Wheelchair Basketball Team to start preparing and fundraising for the 2026–2027 basketball season.For the past two years, Solutions for Independence has generously sponsored our team, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. This year, we want to help ease some of that burden, so we've decided to launch a GoFundMe to help cover some of our upcoming season expenses.Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help our team compete in additional tournaments and if we have a competitive team, make a run at the National Championships.The funds raised will help cover:• NWBA team registration• Individual player registration fees• Referee fees• Conference tournament fees• Travel expenses for away tournaments• Hotel accommodations for tournaments• Possible hotel accommodations for national tournaments• New player jerseysThere are additional expenses throughout the season, but these are some of the most important ones.Solutions for Independence is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so if you would like a tax-deductible donation option, you can also donate directly through them, and those funds will go toward supporting our team.Any amount helps—whether it's $5, $50, or simply sharing this post with others.
