On March 21st, 2026, my son’s father, Trey Mitchell, was injured during a basketball game. He’s played professionally for the Kokomo Bobkats in the TBL league for the past few years. During the game, while attempting to grab a loose ball, Trey and another player collided, and he hit his head extremely hard on the basketball court. That collision flipped him onto his head, splitting his head open instantly. He was rushed to the hospital, given stitches, and released into the care of his girlfriend, Jenna.
While sleeping, Jenna was awakened to the sound of Trey having a seizure. He was taken to another hospital nearby, where he suffered an additional seizure a few hours later. He spent the last two days in the hospital experiencing minor seizures as well. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Not only does he play professional basketball, but he is also a general manager of Footlocker in Indiana. Jenna, his girlfriend, is also missing work while sitting by his side at the hospital in Illinois.
The money donated would help to cover bills and unexpected expenses that have incurred due to this accident. Anything helps.
