One of the first faces you see when you enter the San Diego Tennis & Racquet Club is Trevor Lewan, who runs the pro shop. Trevor started working in the shop in 2004, becoming the owner in May 2019 (less than two months after he and his wife Shannon became the parents of twins!). When the Club temporarily shut down in March 2020 due to COVID-19, Trevor had to close the pro shop as well. While the Club helped Trevor with the rent on the shop, he lost all of his income for two months and was not able to qualify for any of the various government stimulus plans. Trevor has become friends with many Club members over the years and enjoys being able to help everyone who comes into the pro shop with their equipment, merchandise, and racket-stringing needs.
As the Club begins to reopen and things (hopefully) start to get back to normal, we started this campaign to show our support for Trevor and help ensure that he is able to continue providing the membership with a top-notch pro shop experience. While Trevor himself is not involved in any way with this campaign, he is aware of it and is grateful to everyone who contributes and/or spreads the word!
