This fund is for my brother Trevor. We are trying to raise money for his medical expenses. Here is currently in the process of getting on a lung transplant plant list. Here is his story in his own words. Thank you for your support.

Long post... As some of you may know, I was hospitalized in January of this year for 5 days with a severe bacterial infection in my lungs and on a BiPAP forcing oxygen into my lungs when I would breathe. This, on top of the interstitial lung disease that I have been dealing with for the past 7 years, has devastated my pulmonary system, leaving me with only 30% of function and not going to get better. After leaving the hospital, I have been on supplemental oxygen 24/7, pushing 6-10 liters depending on how active I am and what I'm doing. This has put me in chronic late-stage respiratory failure. After talking to pulmonary doctors, my only option is a lung transplant. I have been referred to the University of Nebraska Omaha and did my first meeting last week, and everything went well. They think I'm a good candidate for a transplant. I meet back with them in 3 months for a week-long testing, and if everything goes well and they don't find any underlying condition, I should be able to get on the transplant list. Until then, I start pulmonary rehab 3 days a week for 6 weeks to condition myself and help lose some weight for the procedure. I'm still the same person you all know; I just move a little slower. I haven't let this break my spirit, nor will I let it. I have placed this in God's hands, and I am at peace with it because I don't think He's done writing my book, just another chapter.
