Support Trevor's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Trevor’s cancer story started back in 2019 when he was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes. Following 5 months of treatment he was deemed cured.

Since then, Trevor has taken advantage of every positive opportunity that has come his way. He took a job offer as a Lab Manager and moved out to Seattle in 2020 to continue his career. He married his high school sweetheart, Jasmine, in October 2020 and started pursuing a Masters in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington in 2022.

Over the past few months, Trevor has had to face an even taller and steeper mountain than the one he conquered before, and one that he never expected. Two weeks before Christmas, he learned that his cancer relapsed and there were two large, cancerous tumors in his chest. One tumor was surgically removed, and rods were placed in his spine to stabilize his vertebrae. The other tumor will be treated with months of chemotherapy, and stem cell therapy.

The amount of news he and his family received at Christmas was overwhelming to say the least. He has a long road ahead of him involving months of traveling into the city for treatments, scans, blood work, physical therapy, and an extensive stay in the city of Seattle for an intense chemotherapy treatment period.

This three week stay in the city will include one week of daily high dose chemotherapy treatment, stem cell therapy, and daily observation for 21 consecutive days. This will be very taxing on his body. The doctors recommend that he stay in the city rather than make the commute every day. The location of his stay will also be close to the cancer emergency department, in the case that he becomes sick while being severely immunocompromised. The cost of his treatment, numerous commutes into the city (tolls, hospital parking, etc), and hotel stay during his 3 week intensive treatment period is an additional weight on top of what he is already facing.

I set up this GoFundMe account to financially help out one of my lifelong friends who is facing a lot of uncertainty at this time in his life. I grew up with Trevor and he was always like a brother to me. We’ve kept in touch over the years and he has such a passion for life and adventure. I’m asking that the people who know Trevor, went to school with him, worked with him, or are touched by his story in any way, to consider helping relieve the financial burden that this awful diagnosis has put on him and his family. Thank you in advance to those that say a prayer, donate, or personally reach out to him with encouragement.
