Treson is a 12 year old, 7th grade student who is very athletic. He plays football and basketball. He loves playing outside with his friends. He loves to joke and make people laugh. This year, Treson received the most votes amongst his peers for the best personality award. This wasn't surprising to everyone who knows Treson because his personality is great!

He is quick to support and love on his people. However, it's now Treson that needs everyone's love, positivity, and support.

Treson began having migraines in July, 2022. Toni, his mom and primary parent took him for an MRI on October 31 where the doctors identified a brain tumor causing a build up of fluid on the brain.

On November 1, Treson had his first surgery to drain the fluids from his brain and remove a portion of the tumor to be biopsied.

On November 7, Toni and Treson received the news they never expected. Treson has Germinoma brain cancer. This type of cancer has a 90% cure rate, which has kept the family in high spirits.

Treson says he is confident in his treatment plan and his doctors at Children's of Alabama. He understands that he is unable to play with his friends or attend school for the next several months, which can be hard on a kid who spends most of his evenings outside playing. Treson sees this diagnosis as something he will beat and looks forward to playing with his friends again. His positivity and strong will keep the whole family's spirits lifted.

Financial donations will help the Hollins family to release some of the financial burden that will come with the upcoming treatment plan.
