Hi, my name is Tresher, and I’m a 20-year-old mother and full-time college student.

I am currently finishing my two-year Associate’s degree in Science at Wallace Community College in Selma. Balancing school, motherhood, and everyday life hasn’t been easy, but I’ve stayed committed because I know education is my way forward.

I’ve recently been accepted into a dental program that begins in 2026, and this opportunity means everything to me. Dental school will allow me to build a stable career, provide for my child, and become someone my family can truly be proud of. Neither of my parents had the opportunity to attend college, so reaching this point already feels like a huge milestone, but I’m not done yet.

The biggest challenge I’m facing now is financial. The cost of dental school is more than I can manage on my own, especially while being a full-time student and a mother. I am working hard, applying for aid, and doing everything I can, but I need help to make this next step possible.

I’m starting this GoFundMe with humility and hope. Anything you’re able to give, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Every donation brings me closer to attending dental school and creating a better future for my child and myself.
