Hi everyone

My name is Trè some of you may know me as Freddie or even Jr. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to share something this personal, but life has a way of humbling us and reminding us how much we truly need community.

Back in August, I started experiencing pain that just wouldn’t go away. What I thought might be something small slowly turned into months of chronic, exhausting pain. From August to December, I went to the ER and saw multiple specialists, only to be misdiagnosed several times. During that time, I couldn’t work. I couldn’t rest comfortably. I couldn’t show up as myself. I was just trying to survive each day.

Recently, I found a new primary care doctor who truly listened. He sent me back for a CT scan and finally, they found the issue. I had to undergo emergency surgery immediately. What we thought would be one surgery turned into two, and during the second procedure, doctors discovered my appendix also needed to be removed. I spent three consecutive weeks in the hospital fighting to heal.

I was discharged last Friday and thought I was finally on the road to recovery. But shortly after returning home, I felt that familiar pain again something just wasn’t right. I trusted my instincts and went back to the ER. Another CT scan revealed that I now need yet another surgery, and possibly one more after that depending on how things progress. I’ve been readmitted to the hospital and am preparing mentally and physically for what’s ahead.

Through all of this, I haven’t been able to work. Chronic pain and repeated hospitalizations have made it impossible. As many of you know, life doesn’t pause when you’re sick. Bills still come. Groceries are still needed. Medications and recovery expenses add up quickly. And while I’m doing my best to stay strong and positive, the financial strain has been overwhelming.

I know everyone is fighting their own battles right now. Truly, I do. And I don’t take that lightly. If you’re unable to give, I completely understand. Even sharing this fundraiser means the world to me. But if you are in a position to contribute, please know that any amount no matter how big or small it would help lift an enormous weight off my shoulders during this time.

I’m choosing to believe that this chapter is leading to healing, strength, and testimony. I’m holding on to hope, to faith, and to the love of the people around me.
