Hello family, friends, and the extended CAL FIRE family,

Recently, Trent Pajer, a CAL FIRE firefighter of 11 years, was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in major injuries. He is currently in the hospital and will require additional surgeries, ongoing medical care, and extensive rehabilitation in the months ahead. While Trent is stable and receiving excellent care, the recovery ahead will be long and challenging.

Anyone who knows Trent knows he is the first person to step in when someone needs help. He has built his life around serving others, through his work, his family, and his friendships. Trent holds himself to a high standard, stands up for what is right, and brings humor and steadiness to the people around him, even in difficult moments. He loves serving his community, and for more than a decade, that commitment has defined who he is.

Like many who dedicate their lives to helping others, Trent would never ask for support himself. This fundraiser has been created on his behalf to help ease the financial burden of medical care, rehabilitation, and time away from work as he focuses on recovery.
