3/8/2026 UPDATE- Trent turned 20 on March 4, 2026 and spent the day with family. On March 5, 2026 Trent took his final rest and went to heaven. We are now getting things prepared for a celebration of his life. I know we've had a ton of donations and Trent was able to do things from a list the week before he was gone. If you want to help we could still use donations in the form of food, flowers, money, planning.....anything you can contribute would be immensely appreciated. Help Support Trent in His Fight Against Cholangiocarcinoma
Our hearts are heavy as we share that Trent has been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the bile ducts. This diagnosis has turned life upside down for Trent and everyone who loves him.
Cholangiocarcinoma often goes undetected until it is advanced, and the road ahead involves complex medical care, a long hospital stay, treatments, and difficult decisions. While Trent is facing this with incredible strength and courage, the emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense.
This will be Trent's third time fighting to live. He had a kidney transplant when he was 8 and then after that battled a parasitic infection for months that almost took his life.
Sheila (Grandmother) is staying in San Francisco with him and is struggling with the financial strain of living in 2 places at once. Between travel for specialty care, time away from work, and everyday living expenses, the costs add up quickly. This GoFundMe has been created to help ease that burden so Trent and Sheila can focus on what matters most right now: his health, his strength, and his fight.
