My daughter Mandy and her husband Justin are facing a heartbreaking situation right now. Their 6-month-old puppy, Treble, has a bowel obstruction after swallowing part of a stuffed toy. He had been vomiting all morning, so they rushed him to the vet. After an X-ray, the vet determined that Treble will likely need surgery, and they may even have to remove part of his intestines. The surgery is estimated to cost over 10k. For now they are giving him IV meds and keeping him overnight to see if he can pass it on his own but it’s 50/50 per the vet. Either way, they are facing a huge vet bill and could use some help.

Putting him down is not an option. Treble is part of their family now.

Treble is a fun-loving, energetic, cuddly puppy who deserves every chance at life. It breaks my heart to see my kids going through something like this and having to face such difficult adult decisions when they’re still kids in my eyes.
