My name is Trayvon Johnson, and I am a single father of four beautiful children. I have 5 dogs as well. I work full-time to provide for my family, and I’ve always done everything I can to keep a stable, loving home for my kids. But last night, our lives changed in an instant when our apartment unexpectedly caught on fire. The flames spread incredibly fast, and we were forced to leave with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We are grateful to be alive, but we have lost our home, our belongings, and the sense of safety we once had. As a father, it breaks my heart to see my children scared and unsure of what comes next. I am doing my best to stay strong for them, but we need help to get back on our feet—whether that means securing temporary housing, replacing essentials, or rebuilding our lives from the ground up. Any support, no matter how small, will make a huge difference for my family during this devastating and uncertain time.
