I am creating a GoFundMe for my mom's fiancé, Travis, who suffered a stroke that has continued to have complications requiring him to undergo a procedure that removed a portion of his skull to allow space for his brain to swell as it heals. He is still in the ICU and will require extensive recovery in the hospital and further inpatient recovery for rehab as he experienced left side hemiparalysis.

For those of you who don't know Travis, he is the father of two grown sons, works for the US Customs & Border Patrol, and if that wasn't enough to keep him busy, he also has taken over his family ranch and farm. He does have relief with his youngest son helping him out on the farm and ranch. With these unexpected circumstances and long road to recovery, the family will be taking over the farming and ranching, and it will be greatly impacted without him.

As they continue through this process, we just ask for your continued thoughts and prayers. If you are able to help with some of the financial burden they will be experiencing with family traveling to be with him, hospital bills, and the continued expenses of maintaining a farm and ranch, it would be greatly appreciated.

After almost a week in the ICU, Travis is well enough to be moved to a new unit. Neurosurgery is no longer on the team and he will just be working with the neurologist and working on rebuilding his strength with speak, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
