My dad, Travis Montgomery, had a life-changing stroke on Friday, March 13th.

He has gone from completely independent, working, hanging with friends, and being the main caretaker of his elderly mother to instantly unable to walk, talk, work, or communicate effectively and needing 24/7 care and rehabilitation.

My dad has been self-employed for 30+ years and unfortunately does not have insurance. The rehabilitation necessary to come home, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and the 24/7 necessary care after coming home, and other cost of living bills for this new season of our lives are already growing.

My dad is a strong-willed, stubborn, but determined man who sometimes refuses to ask for help while endlessly helping others.
