Support Travis Through His Stage 4 Lung Cancer Battle
Our dad, Travis Herrera, is a 39-year-old single father from Montebello, California, and one of the hardest-working people we know. For years, he built his life with his own two hands, running his barbershop and always putting his three boys, Joshua, George, and Ryan, first.
Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with advanced-stage lung cancer. Without health insurance, everything changed - his health, his ability to work, and the financial stability he worked so hard to build.
His illness has forced him to step away from his only source of income while going through radiation treatments and fighting the hardest battle of his life.
Now, he's facing the stress of keeping a roof over his family and putting food on the table for his kids.
He has never been the type to ask for help, which is why we're asking for him.
Every dollar raised will go toward keeping a stable home and covering basic needs so he can focus on treatment and recovery without carrying everything on his own.
Radiation is exhausting, but he continues to show up every day for his kids and for this fight. He deserves a community that shows up for him.
"A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken." — Ecclesiastes 4:12
Anything helps, even just sharing this page can make a difference.
