Meet Travis & Missy Lanier. Theirs is a story of love, dedication, simplicity, and FAMILY! They found each other a few years ago and celebrated their union in October 2024. They love life and they love Jesus with all the He created in nature. Last month before they were due to enjoy a well deserved honeymoon in Alaska, they received devastating news. Travis, one of four siblings, father to four young men, and one of the most Godfearing men I know, has cancer. Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes, bones, and blood. Since receiving the news, he has remained steadfast and strong with his trust that God has a plan for him. Since sharing the news, we have received an outpouring of support and requests on how to help. That’s where this post comes from. Travis and Missy have a long road ahead of them with chemotherapy, doctors appointments, family home remodels, all while still working.
