Support Travis in His Brave Fight Against a Brain Tumor
Donation protected
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help.
Two months ago, my family and I received some very scary news. My husband, Travis, had been experiencing severe migraines for about a week. The pain became so intense that he started vomiting. A trip to the ER revealed he had fluid building up in his brain. He was admitted to the hospital for three days, and after further testing, doctors discovered a brain tumor located deep in his brain.
He was then transferred to Minnesota Fairview Hospital, where he underwent brain surgery to relieve the fluid buildup and take a biopsy of the tumor. Thankfully, that surgery went well and has helped manage the fluid. However, we still don’t know the exact type or severity of the tumor.
We’ve since sought a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic. What we do know is that Travis will for sure need another brain surgery, radiation to shrink the tumor, or possibly both. Because of where the tumor is located, surgery comes with serious risks.
While there’s still a lot of uncertainty ahead, one thing is clear—it’s going to be a long and expensive journey. Travis will likely be out of work for quite some time, and the costs are already adding up.
Since the diagnosis, he’s undergone multiple MRIs, biopsies, surgeries, and frequent travel between hospitals—all of which have become financially overwhelming.
If you are not able to donate at this time, sharing this page with friends and family would mean the world. We are deeply grateful for any donations to help cover medical expenses and everything that comes with this.
