Support Travis Cook's Road to Recovery

Update - Travis had the left side of his skull removed with the brain surgery in March. He will have the skull piece replaced Friday 6/7. Please pray this surgery goes well and helps in the next step of recovery.

Hi, my name is Donna Collom and I’m fundraising for Travis Cook. Travis, 37 years old, is the dad to my 3-year old great-nephew Leo. On March 23, Travis sustained a traumatic brain injury after falling off a ladder. Despite what the neurosurgeon said the night it happened, Travis has fought and held on showing us all that he wants to be able to once again play with his son, go to the park, ride bikes and more. After weeks in ICU, life support was no longer needed and Travis has had help in TIRR and now in an acute brain injury rehab placement. He can talk, feed himself and has use of his right side. Unfortunately, there are many functions he has lost. We are prayerful he will be healed completely with proper rehab.

With medical issues come big financial burdens. Travis’ insurance only pays a portion of the catastrophic medical bills. The facility requires some financial payment above insurance for Travis to continue getting the help he so desperately needs.
