My name is Natalie Morris. I'm here because my lifelong best friend, her boyfriend, and son are in a very bad situation with a slumlord.
Since they moved in almost 6 months ago, they have been having issues. No working stove or burners, no working dishwasher, and at one point, no hot water for at least 6 days. In this time, the landlord keeps working on this stove for hours at random times and weird hours. This stove is part of a long strip of metal as one piece with the sink being right next to the range connected. This concoction is from the 50s.
The landlord tries to come without a 24-hour notice and rarely makes the time they say they will come. There are so many issues.
Well, now the landlord and assistant are taking them to court to evict them.
Vanessa and Travis don't have money for a deposit because all their money has gone into their current place. They even have to rehome their 2 dogs because there are not many places that accept pets. Please, if you can help, that would be wonderful!!! I don't want them to be homeless.
