Hello! My name is Travelle Cooper, and I’m a proud Bahamian from Abaco, Bahamas.

As the oldest of three girls, I was raised to lead with love, resilience, and faith, even when the path ahead felt uncertain. Coming from a small island and a humble background, I was often reminded that life wouldn’t be easy. But I’ve always believed in dreaming big, working hard, and making a difference in the lives of others, especially children.

That’s why I chose Elementary Education as my major at Morgan State University, where I am now a senior and proud scholarship recipient. I’ve maintained a 3.5 to 4.0 GPA throughout my college career, and I’ve stayed active on campus as a member of the Caribbean Student Association and the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). Education isn’t just my career choice, it’s my calling.

Now, I’m asking for your help to finish strong.

This fundraiser will help me cover critical costs in my final year, including:

• Teacher certification exams (Praxis)

• Legal fees and visa-related expenses as an international student

• Essential classroom materials I’ll need to start my teaching career

My goal is to raise $8,000, and every contribution brings me closer to walking across the stage, passing my certification exams, and stepping into the classroom ready to give my all.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been full of purpose. I’m not just working toward a degree, I’m preparing to become the kind of teacher who sees every child’s potential and reminds them they’re capable of anything.

Thank you for helping me take this final step! Your support means the world, not just to me, but to every student I will one day teach.
