Hello, my name is Andrew Brainard, and I am the CEO of TransMedCare, a company based in Maitland, FL, that has been dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and affordable non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for elderly and disabled individuals across the country. For nearly a decade, we have helped thousands of families relocate their loved ones safely and comfortably, providing a vital service during some of life’s most challenging moments.

In addition to leading TransMedCare, I’m also a first-time father, welcoming a newborn into the world this past July. I care deeply not only for the clients we serve but also for my team and their families, many of whom are facing uncertainty due to the financial hardships that have hit our company.

Recently, we encountered a series of devastating setbacks:

Multiple Vehicle Breakdowns: Several of our transport vehicles broke down simultaneously, leading to repair costs exceeding $75,000. This not only drained our financial resources but also took key vehicles out of operation, preventing us from generating the revenue we need to sustain our business.

Hurricane Disruption: On top of these vehicle breakdowns, we were hit hard by back-to-back hurricanes, Helene and Milton. These storms caused major disruptions to our business operations, and our sales have plummeted compared to previous years.

I’m raising funds to help TransMedCare cover essential expenses, including:

Payroll: To continue paying my dedicated employees who are the backbone of this company.

Bills: Covering our ongoing operational costs, including utilities, insurance, and other critical business expenses.

Rent: Ensuring we can continue to operate from our Maitland, FL location.

Vehicle Repairs: Completing the necessary repairs to get our fleet back on the road and serving the community.

TransMedCare provides a critical service to the elderly and disabled, ensuring they can be safely transported to hospitals, nursing homes, and to be reunited with family members across the country. We are proud of the work we’ve done, and we believe that what we provide is essential to the communities we serve. But now, we are at risk of shutting down due to these unforeseen circumstances.
