Support Trans Woman's Safe Transition to Nova Scotia

Hi Everyone!

As a woman of transgender experience, I am having to turn my life upside down to stay safe. As I move to Nova Scotia, I will be taking a dramatic pay cut. As such, I could use some funding. I have to pay $8000 to my current hospital for the study days they provided me last year while I was in nursing school; I owe them a year of service that I cannot now complete and there is no proration. I could also use some setup money to put groceries into my fridge in the home I’ll be sharing with a new roommate. It is hard for me to ask for help, but here I am, leaving the country I used to call home because transgender people are in danger in the new administration. Seeking peace is expensive.
