So hi I’m trans. Trans people, a lot of us get surgeries and lots of healthcare. This healthcare costs …a lot. And, well, trans people and our healthcare is kinda under attack right now, as you may have heard. I’m trying to get my surgeries and necessary care done on a bit of an accelerated time schedule. And, frankly, I’ve lived a long life feeling like a stranger in my own body and every bit of care is a step away from not having to live like that anymore. So, even though every part of me is screaming not to, I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy, girl, and/or enby asking them to give her some of that same five dollars we’ve all just been passing around for years now. Plus, I’m just a little girl and it’s my birthday.
